General Subscription Questions
You will get a box ASAP! No matter when you order, you immediately receive a box. After that you will receive your boxes on a quarterly cycle in February, May, August, and November.
Your credit card will be charged prior to receiving every box. So for your first box, you will be charged right away and you will be sent a box right away. After that your card will be charged on the 9th of the month of the quarterly renewal (February, May, August, November).
Right away when you subscribe! Following your initial box, all active subscriptions renew on the 9th of February, May, August, and November. These boxes will be shipped by the 23rd at the latest.
Yes! You can cancel at any time. But wait, there's more! If you are feeling like you need a break from your box, but don't want to fully cancel, you can pause your subscription, or skip upcoming boxes. Just log into your account and you can make any adjustments you want from there!
Gifting Questions
The only thing you will immediately receive a confirmation email when signing up. Subscriptions with books will send out a book preference form to the recipient once the date you gift the box has passed. Otherwise, the first thing the recipient will receive from us is their box when it starts in February, May, August, or November!
Your giftee will receive their first box at the next renewal, in February, May, August, or November.
Don't worry! We have a plan for this! When you sign up you will tell us when you plan on telling the recipient about their gift. After this day we will email them a form to fill out their book preferences.
When signing up you will be asked to give your best guesses about the recipients taste. We will use this as a backup in case we don't hear from the recipient before their next box goes out!
Book Box Questions
Have no fear! We've got a plan for this. Just log into your account to update your preferences! We also have this form as a backup option. We will use your most recent form when picking out books for you.
We don't want this to happen either! One of the best ways to help prevent this is to put your goodreads/StoryGraph/other book tracking site profile url into your book preferences information. We will check it and make sure that we don't select books you've read before!
You can also select that you are interested in "Hidden Gems" when you are filling out your book preferences. These books are much less widespread, and are much more likely to be new to you!
YES! We would be honored to help your books find their next home. Ship them to us and we will take it from there! Hint, use media mail to minimize shipping costs.

Candle Box Questions
You will get two candles that are handpicked for the season. Sometimes you will get one seasonal candle and one year round candle. Other times you will get two candles that feel season specific!
